Responsibilities

• Help the organization build high performing products and services – utilize instrumentation, automation frameworks, and software tools to enable complex simulations to assess the platform in an agile, fast paced environment
• Test, debug, and measure the performance of the implemented features
• Use profiling tools to profile and determine hotspots for resource usage. Develop optimizations to improve performance and scalability
• Analyze complex performance problems and designing or suggesting effective solutions – Influence architectural decisions for delivering high performant software, identify performance bottlenecks, make optimization recommendations,
• Responsible for Benchmarking & Sizing- participate in feature and system design, throughout the entire software development lifecycle, to ensure high performance.
• Perform End-to-End Performance Analysis: Analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks across our application stack using various tools like Jprofiler, Loadrunner, Jmeter Splunk, CA APM ets
• Own and drive the performance initiatives 
• Generate current release and production performance status and other analytics trends
• Partner with key stakeholders to mitigate performance issues to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects
• Analyze different tool sets and continuously bring in the right performance tools for the organization needs
• Develop strategies working with delivery teams to performance testing and engineering in-sprint

Skills

• 6+ years software development experience in performance engineering
• Expertise in benchmark testing, performance analysis, and tuning with experience developing software benchmarks
• Very good experience in working and building with modern front-end web applications and technologies (React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc.)
• Experience with Back-end technologies like Oracle, SQL
• Experience analyzing and interpreting large volume of data using tools like Splunk, APM, Dynatrace to understand throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization
• Expertise in tools such as Neoload, JProfiler, JMeter, YourKit and Loadrunner
• Expert knowledge of Web Browser Profiling and  Web Browser Rendering Optimizations
• Experience in End-to-End Performance Engineering across all tiers:

• UX (Browser / App)
• Network
• Web Server
• Application Server
• Database Server
• Hardware & Storage

Experience in Troubleshooting and Resolution of Performance Issues on Production
